"After a few years switching back and forth between insurance companies to find the best rates, etc. I made the long lasting switch to Statefarm (@Amy Wakem) after having talked to my current agent, Tim Holt, who really listened to me with what I was looking for and he was able to bundle me with a nice renter's + auto insurance package. There came a time a year or so ago where no insurance company would insure specific models of Hyundai made on certain years because of rising issues with theft, break-ins, etc. I had just traded in my first car for a new Hyundai, unbeknownst that I would have issues finding insurance, and was stuck paying a high premium elsewhere for nearly a year. It seemed that I would be stuck paying that high premium until I received a call from Tim, who I still had renter's insurance with, and told me the great news that statefarm was now able to insure my Hyundai and he got me the best rate compared to others and it's how I got my current renter's + auto bundle. As the months go by, I've been seeing how my monthly keeps going down so I am *very* happy/stoked about that :)! And yet, I know I'm not taking advantage of all the savings because I have yet to enroll in their drive safe and save program. I also went through my first claim this year and that was quite an effort to navigate all the unknowns but I felt I needed to call Tim, who does not specialize in claims, but he told me what he knew (such as the awesome discount for rentals at Enterprise for statefarm customers, etc.) and that he would reach out to his team and see what they could do. Let me just say that I felt so taken care of after that, the process felt less chaotic and I was satisfied with the repair shop reimbursement I received. I have already referred two families to Tim who also have nothing but great things to say about him and they also feel like he's very knowledgeable and he actually cares about your concerns; great customer service overall! Tim's an asset to Amy Wakem and I hope he feels equally appreciated just as I have felt being a customer here. To summarize, Tim has been our (good) experience at Statefarm and he's organically made it the standard for us anywhere. If this standard is here to stay, so will I :)"
